Hello hello,
Happy Friday! It’s been a busy week for me with a big move out of my London flat. Don’t get me wrong, packing for a weekend away or a nice holiday to the Med is all very exciting. But packing up all your stuff is a completely different ball game. How can so much be accumulated in just three years? Still, it was a good opportunity to review my wardrobe and take anything I haven’t been vibing with recently to the charity shop. Small wins!
I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who responded to our survey! It’s been great to become better acquainted with you all and really get a feel for what makes our fab community tick. But more on that below! In the meantime, we’ve got our usual round up of this week’s headlines and culture recs ❣️
Love,
Annabel

🗞 Read: This piece about falling in love with roses is the perfect weekend read. Novelist Charlotte Mendelson documents her journey from rose-sceptic to rose-lover whilst writing one of her characters. In an unexpected turn of events, her character’s love for the flower transferred over to a real life adoration for Charlotte herself. Definitely worth a read!
🎧 Listen: Madonna is back ⚡️ Her new album, Veronica Electronica, is a set of remixes and lost songs and honestly it’s just the dose of 90s nostalgia we’re always trying to get hold of. Music for dancing around the kitchen is sorted for the foreseeable.
📺 Watch: Happy Gilmore 2 featuring Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny, which wasn’t on our bingo card! Also, the Lionesses’ penalty shootouts have been playing on repeat – still can’t get over Chloe Kelly’s speedy kick.
🧑🍳 Cook: Ever heard of a muffeleta? It’s essentially a super-sized sandwich and this one in particular takes it to a whole new level: an entire loaf of bread stuffed with everything from mozzarella to parma ham. Say no more!
