Pine martens are “darting through the woods of Dartmoor” for the first time in 150 years, after the “rare but recovering” species was reintroduced there, reported The Guardian. The animals aren’t just thriving in south-west England, either: pine martens returned naturally to Shropshire in 2015, and reintroductions in Wales and the Forest of Dean proved equally successful.
