Dear readers,
An especially happy Friday to you all, given that the warm and long days are finally here. It feels like we’ve been waiting ages for this!
Back in April, we launched friends of The Know - a way for readers to support our mission. As a tiny, independent and free news source, it’s really hard for us to make money - and your support is essential if we’re to keep doing what we’re doing.
To celebrate the start of summer - and to give you a way to support the journalism you love for even less - you can now become a friend of The Know for just £2.50 a month (or £25 a year)! This sweet, half-price deal is open to the first 250 readers and will close at the end of June - so sign up ASAP 👉 here 👈.
Scroll down to meet the team and hear about why you should become a friend of The Know. You’ll also find your regular dose of culture recs, global headlines and our weekly news quiz.
Love,

🎪 The Know’s ultimate festival packing checklist
Two of our team members are off to Glastonbury in a few weeks (and the rest of us definitely aren’t jealous 👀) which has led to some lengthy discussions about our festival staples.
It turns out that we each have our own set of must-brings for surviving the utterly unique experience that is a music festival. With that in mind, we decided to compile the ultimate festival packing checklist, covering everything from essentials to fun but frivolous items.

🎧 Listen: This week, several sites have published round-ups of the best podcasts of 2023 so far, making it easier than ever for you to find your next fave listen. We especially rated these lists from Vogue and Vulture.
