Hello hello,
Lily here 👋 It’s been a hot minute since we last spoke and it feels like there’s a lot to catch up on! All my Easter chocolate has been thoroughly enjoyed and I almost don’t know what to have as my sweet treat now that mini eggs are gone for another year. Any recs would be very welcome! In other news, I’ve been totally locked in on the current lunar mission – I can’t believe they’re landing today!
But before I give away any spoilers for the rest of the edition, we better crack on with our usual roundup of the week’s headlines and culture picks. 💌

💗 Do: Be a little nosy and dive into our money series in partnership with PensionBee, where our readers spill their real-life habits and we unpack the personalities behind how we spend, save and plan for the future. Make sure you’re subscribed to our daily editions so you don’t miss a single one.
🗞 Read: Editor Annabel here! This week I wrote a piece for the New Statesman that dives into a recent report talking about the influence of “immature men” on the declining birth rate. It also digs into the very real limbo Millennials and Gen Z find themselves in when it comes to growing up and settling down. PSA: it’s paywalled, but they’re currently offering one month for £1 – and there’s plenty of brilliant content on there if you’re tempted!
🎧 Listen: If you find science super interesting but sometimes a teeny bit hard to digest, this podcast is for you. Hannah Fry and Michael Stevens manage to answer lots of questions that have crossed my mind over the years… and still manage to make it fun!
📺 Watch: Everyone has been talking about the latest season of The Capture. I had only watched the first season so had a bit of catching up to do but can confirm it’s worth it! Big Mistakes has only been out for a day but it’s already become the perfect comfort blanket in place of Schitt’s Creek for me. And the hype surrounding The Devil Wears Prada 2 has got me so excited that I’ve just had to rewatch the original (for research purposes, of course 💁♀️).
🧑🍳 Cook: This one could divide the room… but savoury muffins have entered the chat! This recipe for a courgette and feta version is chef’s kiss literally.
