The Know Daily - Friday 12 July 2024

💌 Your Friday roundup is here

Read in 5m 24s ∙ Listening to Tame Impala

Hello! ☀️ Hope you have a few nice things to look forward to this weekend — mine is looking a bit busier than usual. And, as excited as I am to catch up with family and friends, a hectic schedule always makes me a bit apprehensive, because I have a pretty bad habit of always being slightly late to things.

I’ve never missed an important event like a flight or exam, but I always seem to underestimate how long tasks will take me, whether it’s putting the laundry on, getting the bus somewhere or even doing the weekly shop. If that’s something you can relate to, you, like me, may be a “time optimist” – and I chat about it a bit more in today’s edition.

On top of that, you’ll also find the usual roundup of the week’s biggest headlines, culture recs and more. Enjoy!
