The Know Daily - Friday 14 June 2024

💌 Your Friday roundup is here

Read in 5m 54s ∙ Listening to Laufey

Hello hello!

Lynn here - hope you’ve all had wonderful weeks. Ours certainly got off to a great start, after so many of you responded to our callout for donations on Monday 🫶 We’re so appreciative of all the love and support you’ve shown The Know.

ICYMI, we didn’t publish the newsletter as usual on Monday - as a tiny team, we just didn’t have the (wo)manpower that day. Instead, I sent out a reminder of why I co-founded The Know - to help you engage with the news in a healthier way, but also to prove that a media company can survive financially without relying on clickbait headlines and paywalls - and I asked for your support.

We received over 360 donations, ranging from £2 to £50 - and we’re so grateful for each and every one. We also got a lot of kind comments! We really couldn’t do this without you, so thank you.

Love, Lynn x
Co-founder

P.S. If you missed it the first time around, you can donate to The Know anytime via these buttons 👇
