Esther loves the BBC’s low-fi series Slow Radio, which features calming sounds, while Belle recommends Sleep With Me, a podcast that progressively gets more boring until you nod off. This week’s spotlight is shining on Alex - the childhood bestie of Belle, our Head of Social. Belle writes:

This week, Alex is celebrating her 26th birthday - and right after she’ll begin six months of travelling in Asia and Europe. When she gets back she’ll be moving to a different state in Australia.

Alex, when the pandemic initially put your plans on hold, you handled that - and other setbacks - with a grace that truly inspired me. Quitting your job and taking these large leaps into the unknown is downright incredible and I’m so stoked for this new chapter you’re about to embark on.

Thank you for the past 15+ years of unwavering friendship and loyalty. I can’t wait for you to visit London so I can give you a big hug!

Trivia answer: B) Chicago dyes its river green as part of a tradition dating back to 1961. An orange-coloured vegetable dye costing $1,000 is used to transform the Chicago River each year.
