Temperate rainforest used to cover much of Britain’s Atlantic coast – and a new project is aiming to restore the ancient lost habitat in south-west Wales. A 146-acre site in Pembrokeshire will be planted with species such as oak and wild service, providing habitat for animals and plant life, thanks to The Wildlife Trust’s rainforest recovery programme.
