Bison were released into woodland near Canterbury in 2022 as part of a pioneering restoration project. Since then, they’ve flourished, so much so that more space is now being made for them. Four new bridges are being built in the woodland so that they can roam a wider area, while visitors walk above them and keep an eye out for the magnificent creatures.

A ban on owning ‘zombie-style’ knives has come into force today in England and Wales, following a month-long amnesty scheme where owners were encouraged to hand them in.
