Scientists looking at ways to tackle plastic pollution in our oceans have made a gamechanging discovery 🌊 Cellulose diacetate – a bioplastic that comes from plant cells – is known to break down much faster in water than other types of plastic. Now, researchers have figured out how to accelerate that process, with the modified material degrading even faster than paper.
