The Know Daily - Friday 29 November 2024

Read in 5m 39s ∙ Listening to Scissor Sisters

Thank you to MERIT for helping to keep this newsletter free and accessible to all. They just launched their only sale of the year – blink and you’ll miss it 👀

Happy Friday ❤️

I woke up a bit later than usual this morning after hosting my lovely friends and family last night for Thanksgiving. As an expat in the UK, I love sharing the tradition with those who haven’t celebrated before: we cooked all the traditional foods, drank a lot of wine and reflected a bit on what we’re thankful for.

It’s a tradition in my family to go around the table, one by one, and say what you’re grateful for. Today, I’m grateful for all of you that choose to spend your precious time in the mornings with us.

Keep reading for your usual roundup of the week’s headlines, as well as plenty of culture recs to fill your weekends.

Dreaming of launching your own newsletter but not sure where to start? I can relate. When I started this newsletter 3 years ago, the platforms all seemed a bit overwhelming to me. I knew how to create great content, but I didn’t know the right tool to make it work.

After going through a few of them (it was painful 🫠) I found Beehiiv. It’s been a gamechanger for us in terms of design and ease of use.

They’re offering 20% off for Black Friday and I wanted to spread the good news! The sale closes on Monday – there’s no better time to invest in yourself and your brand! Plus, you also get free Perplexity Pro, which is basically a better, more intuitive Google for all your day-to-day questions.
