The Know Daily - Friday 30 May 2025

Read in 5m 32s ∙ Listening to Sjowgren

Hello hello,

Lynn here – hope you’ve had a fab week and are revelling in that Friyay feeling (if only it could be bottled!). I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude lately. My friend Poppy’s been really into it, and it’s rubbed off in the best way. I’ve started noticing all the small, good things I usually overlook whether that’s morning light, a perfect slice of toast or just a great hair day. Turns out, there’s something to it. We’re starting something special for our community to help all of us get started with a gratitude practice.

More on that below, plus a round-up of this week’s need-to-knows and a few feel-good treats we think you’ll love 💌

Love,
Lynn x

As Lynn mentioned earlier, gratitude’s been on our minds recently. We’ve been thinking about it even more since discovering (and falling in love with) the With Gratitude app. The idea was born from a real-life friendship ritual – every day its co-founders, Suki Waterhouse and Poppy Jamie, would text each other a list of 10 good things from the day. “It wasn’t just to stay connected,” Poppy told us, “but to look after our mental health and perspective.” Thanks to Poppy and Suki, we can come together to practice gratitude as a community. We’ve already got a little streak going over there, so come join us (prepare to get acquainted with Lynn’s loose leaf teapot and my marmite obsession) 💖
