Happy Friday! ❤️ We’re back after a much-needed break, feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of the year – which is an especially good thing, seeing as September always seems filled with life admin.
And it seems like no matter how old I get, that back-to-school feeling (slightly apprehensive, slightly excited) never really goes away. This year, I’ve decided to lean into that nostalgia a little bit more – and in fact, wear it with pride 👀
Keep reading for the usual roundup of stories from the week and culture recs to see you through the weekend.
Have a great one,

This year I’ve really leaned into the nostalgia I’ve felt for my Y2K childhood – I hosted a Disney movie marathon with my friends, embraced a graphic tee and started wearing colourful butterfly clips again. And as September rolled around, the nostalgic back-to-school feeling hit even more.
Hands down, my fave back-to-school tradition was picking out a couple of new outfits. To honour that, I’m treating myself to some new items from the Disney Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring collection at Primark. Combining my fave Disney character with Keith Haring’s iconic pop art style, the fresh, fun clothing and accessories are guaranteed to add a touch of nostalgia to your wardrobe. An icon collection for an iconic character! *
I’ve been LOVING the sturdy and stylish tote bag, ideal for popping to the shop to pick up ingredients to make pumpkin spice goodies 🎃. And don’t get me started on the cream hoodie 👀. With a super cute design and a relaxed fit, it’s perfect for throwing on for walks under the changing leaves.
